This week our friends learned about the alphabet and worked on identifying different letters. At large group time the children went on a letter hunt! They had to find different letters that were hiding around our room and then identify which ones they found. The children also got to work with shaving cream and play dough during small group time. The children practiced writing individual letters as well as their names. The children really enjoyed these hands on activities!
Next week we will be working with numbers. The children will be practicing the skills of counting with one to one correspondence and matching number sets 0-10. We have some really fun activities planned such as a number line jump and painting with do-a-dot paints!
Families please keep sending in family photos as well as the technology permission. If you did not receive one, please send me an email so I can place one in your child's backpack. As always feel free to email me with any questions! Have a restful Sunday :)
