This week our friends explored some new materials. They worked with rice during small group and work time. They also used different materials in the gym. The construction on the playground is still being completed, but the children have been given the opportunity to use some awesome gym materials. They have been able to ride bikes, play soccer, practice throwing and shoot balls, as well as jumping over small poles and dots on floor dots. On Friday the children began practicing writing their names.
This coming week we will be focusing on identify letters and letter sounds. During both small and large time the children will be participating in activities that will help them with letter identification. Please continue to send in family photos and well as the technology permission sheets. Have a restful Sunday evening!
