Our First Full Week

The children had a wonderful first full week. They are doing a great job at remembering the different parts of our day and the different areas and materials in our classroom. This week we explored the house area, block area, and book area in our classroom. We also created a class song book full of songs that we have sung through out this week. Next week during small group the children are going to be putting on their scientist hats and exploring funnels, sand, rocks, and pebbles.

Another item that I would like to introduce to our classroom is a Class Book, filled with pictures of the children and their families. This weekend please find a family picture that you can send with your child to school. We will be placing the pictures in a binder for the children to look at.
