Happy Monday! I will typically update the classroom blog on Monday evenings. This week the children are doing small group and large group activities centered around the letters of their first name and simple counting. The children decorated the letter of their first name with different art materials. We did keep one copy of the project at school to display, so some students might come home with one and others might not come with one, depending on which days the attend school.
The children have done a wonderful job getting into the groove of the school routine. They are completing their morning jobs more independently. This week we will be added new job, signing-in. The children will be signing in everyday, which helps them practice writing their name. Both classes have been working really hard during work time and clean up time to treat each other with kindness and work as a team. Both morning and afternoon classes have been earning, "warm fuzzies". which are added to a classroom prize jar. Warm fuzzies are given when the whole class works together as a team. Once the jar is full of the warm fuzzies, the whole class will get to celebrate with a whole class activity or special dress up day. Both classes are motivated and on a role!

- Please send a photo of your family to school, we will be placing them on our family tree!
- School Supplies
- Please continue bringing in school supplies; tissues, wipes, extra clothes (in a baggie with name), wipes, and if needed diapers or pull ups
- Information
- Please fill out your child's information sheet found in the green folder (if you didn't fill it out at back to school night) this information will help us through out the school year
- Paperwork
- Please complete and send paperwork with your child to school or drop it off in the front office
- Field Trip
- We will be having an IN SCHOOL field trip on August 26th at 9:30am and 1:30pm
- PSG Meeting
- The first PSG meeting will be August 10th at 6:30pm
- Buffalo Wild Wings Dine to Donate, Wednesday, August 10th
