Week of February 22-26

Hi Families,

We have an exciting week this week! Today Connor Prairie came to school and talked to the children about what life was like during the late 1800's. The children were able to explore different tools and materials that people used to us.

This week the children will be doing some fun math and letter identification games at large and small group. We will be doing a fun line jump game on Tuesday as well as a action packed letter identification game on Friday. We will also be doing a fun science experiment on Friday with different colored Oobleck.

Here are some reminders for the week...

Art to Remember:
Forms are due back to school on Thursday, February 25th. If you are missing your form or have any questions please contact me ASAP, each form is specific to each student.

Snacks with Students:
Snacks with students will be on March 14th and 15th at 11:00am and 3:00pm. Please fill out the form with the names of will be attending. Reminder that who ever is attending must have a completed and cleared background check in order to participate. If you have any questions regarding a background check, please call or send Kelly Wood an email (kwood@brownsburg.k12.in.us). 

Ice Skating:
On March 7th and 8th the therapists will be setting up an "ice skating" rink in the teacher break room, were the children will be able to "skate" around the room, which is made up of shaving cream and plastic wrap around the floor. Please send your child to school in messier clothes if they want to participate in the "ice skating".
