Happy Monday! This week the children are going to be doing work with some Big Books and investigate different parts of a book. They are also going to continue to be authors and make their own books on Wednesday, specifically looking at adding known letters to their books.
Reminders:
School Pictures:
Picture forms are being sent home today, Spring Pictures are March 10th and 11th. You do not need to re-take pictures, but you are more than welcome to take them again even if you did at the beginning of the year. Please return the forms back to school as soon as possible. If you do not return the form, your child's picture will NOT be taken.
Snacks with Students:
Snacks with students will be on March 14th and 15th at 11:00am and 3:00pm. Please fill out the form with the names of will be attending. The snack for each attending guest is $2.00. Reminder that who ever is attending must have a completed and cleared background check in order to participate. If you have any questions regarding a background check, please call or send Kelly Wood an email (kwood@brownsburg.k12.in.us). RSVP are due March 4th.
Book Fair:
The book fair is back! Monday March 14th-Wednesday 16th, you can go to the book fair during drop off/pick up, as well as, after snacks with students.
Ice Skating:
On March 7th and 8th the therapists will be setting up an "ice skating" rink in the teacher break room, were the children will be able to "skate" around the room, which is made up of shaving cream and plastic wrap around the floor. Please send your child to school in messier clothes if they want to participate in the "ice skating".
Spring Fling:
Keep sending in "Cat" items for our spring fling basket!
